Xiaomi 14 Ultra:

Xiaomi has finally revealed its newest and one of the most powerful flagship smartphones.

The Xiaomi 14 Ultra was enthusiastically awaited after the launch of the Xiaomi 14 series which includes 14 and 14 Pro max.

Xiaomi 14 Ultra is currently only released for Chinese users. The smartphone will make its global presence at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain, on Sunday, which will announce its availability in the global mobile market.

Specification Xiaomi 14 Ultra

The salient quality of the Xiaomi 14 Ultra is found in its rear quad camera setup integrating Leica optics.

It carries a large 1-inch type Sony LYT-900 sensor at its core, paired with an f/1.63 variable aperture lens.

Along with a primary camera of 50-megapixel Summilux cameras: a 120mm periscope module with 5x optical zoom, a telephoto with 3.2x optical zoom, and an ultrawide shooter with a wide 122-degree field of view.

The camera framework also has Xiaomi’s custom AISP neural chip, which incorporates four AI models further elevating zoom and image processing capabilities.

The Xiaomi 14 Ultra also brags satellite connectivity for two-way communication, which ensures SOS messaging and location sharing in remote areas.

Xiaomi 14 Ultra is equipped with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 silicon chipset and Xiaomi’s Surge T1 communication chip, which improves cellular speeds and connectivity across Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, supporting these features.

To maintain optimal performance the smartphone has a dual vapour chamber cooling system.

Look-wise, the device has a robust “Dragon Armor” design with an aluminum alloy frame called “6M42”. Its Dragon Crystal glass offers enhanced drop resistance and an IP68 rating protects it from dust and liquid.

The smartphone features a 6.73” QHD + AMOLED display with a slim bezel, which corporates an ultrasonic fingerprint reader for secure authentication.

The screen also supports a dynamic 120Hz refresh rate for smoother visuals during gaming and scrolling.

In the internals, the device has a 5,300 mAh battery with silicon-carbon technology to deliver 17% more capacity in 8% less space compared to the previous series.

Users can have the benefit of fast charging speeds, with a 50% charge achievable in just 12.5 minutes, thanks to support for 90W wired and 80W wireless charging.

In China, 14 Ultra comes in 3 variants with different prices and specifications…

  2. Premium Model: 16GB RAM: 1TB Storage: Rs. 91,000
  3. Special Edition with a vegan leather back and a titanium frame:  Rs. 1,02,000

The phone will go on sale in China on February 27.

Xiaomi’s Lei Jun,  for the global launch and India availability earlier cited that the smartphone will make semblance at the company’s presentation at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain on Sunday.

The device will be available in Europe but not officially in the US.
