Chinese technology giant Xiaomi revealed its Redmi Buds 5 wireless earbuds in India on 12th February.
The Redmi Buds 5 are launched in selected markets including India. These TWS earbuds boast 12.44mm dynamic titanium drivers, hybrid Active Noise Cancellation offering up to 46dB, dual-mic AI noise reduction, fast charging support, and various other features.
Redmi Buds 5 Price in India, Availability
- The Redmi Buds have been launched in India for Rs 2,999 and will be available in the market from February 20.
- Xiaomi has launched a special offer for those customers who buy the Redmi Note 13 series or Redmi Pad and acquire the earbuds for Rs 2,499.
- The Redmi Buds 5 will be available to buy on various platforms like Flipkart, Amazon, Mi.com, Mi Homes, and Xiaomi retail partners.
- Redmi earbuds are offered in 3 colours Fusion White, Fusion Black, and Fusion Purple colour options.

Automatic Noise Cancellation: The Redmi Buds 5 is provisioned with up to 46dB hybrid automatic noise cancellation, which claims to block 99.5% of background noise.
Automatic Noise Cancellation Modes: The earbuds are user-oriented and need personalization and flexibility by allowing them to manage automatic noise cancellation settings across 3 modes – Balanced noise cancellation, Light noise cancellation, and Deep noise cancellation.
Audio Modes: The company has offered three transparency modes and selects from various audio effects such as Standard, Enhanced Bass, Enhanced Treble, and Enhanced Voice for personalized sound.
Drivers: The Buds features 12.4mm dynamic titanium drivers offering balanced sound quality across all frequencies.
Battery: The earbuds have the feature of fast-charging capacity, backup of up to 2 hours of playtime within just 5 minutes of charging, and a total playtime of 38 hours.
Mics: The earbuds have dual-mic AI voice enhancement technology that guarantees clear communication calls, and voice commands.
Other Features: The earbuds also offer eight customizable gestures and in-ear detection dual-device pairing. Bluetooth 5.3 and “find your earphone function”.
The Redmi Buds 5 also offers a dual-device pairing feature that allows consumers to switch between two devices easily, such as a mobile and a laptop.
The buds also have a “find your earphones” features that helps users locate the buds if they are lost nearby surrounding by playing a sound or showing the last known location on the map.
Xiaomi says the earbuds are designed to provide a versatile wireless audio experience for users.
