Apple iPhone 15 is set to launch on September 15. Apple official website confirmed.
The Biggest product-upgrade event of the year for Apple Inc.’s is slated on 12th September and Apple is all set to uncover its iPhone 15 and its next generation smartwatches.
Launch of iPhone 15
Apple Inc has a long-time trend to make new iPhone model for pre-order on the Friday after their revealing. Delivery begins one week later to customers and stores.
Apple already announced the plans and schedules on its website via email under the banner “Wonderlust”
The Wonderlust event will be live streamed on Apple’s official channels, which includes company’s official website and YouTube channel. Indian viewers will be able to access the event at 10:30pm.
iPhone 15 Specifications
Going by company’s track record the iPhone 15 basic models (non-pro) may notice the highest sales. The basic models of iPhone 15 are getting some major updates in this current year 2023.
iPhone 15 will be launched in two size options…
- iPhone 15: 6.1-inch display.
- iPhone 15 Plus: 6.7-inch display
iPhone 15 will have some major changes from its previous model. The major change is expected in the phone is lack of notch. Previously iPhone X model also skipped the notch.
Apple is planning to bring the dynamic pill to the more cost-effective iPhone line-up.
Performance wise Apple iOS has come up with the 4nanometer A16 bionic chipset to iPhone 15 basic non-pro models.
It is also expected that Apple will launch new colour options for iPhone 15

iPhone 15 Pro will also come in two size options….
- iPhone 15 Pro: 6.1-inch display
- iPhone 15 Pro Max: 6.7-inch display.
Compare to iPhone 14 Pro models, the bezels on the display are expected to be slimmer of new iPhone 15 Pro. iPhone 15 Pro will have a dynamic pill design. One more added feature for iPhone 15 Pro models will have Titanium frame.
In terms of camera, the iPhone 14 Pro max can get a major upgrade. It will have periscope lens which will support 5x-6x optical zoom.
Apple Watch Series 9 and New Apple Watch Ultra
Apple is set to release three new smartwatches on September 12 with codenames N207, N210, and N207 according to Bloomberg’s Mark German.
- Apple watch Ultra which made a debut last year in 2022 will have a new updated version this year.
- Apple Watch series 9 is expected to come under two models and in different sizes.
The reports suggest that Apple Watch Ultra will have a bigger display.
