Maruti Suzuki 3 New Hybrid Car and 1 Electric Car Launch in India

Maruti Suzuki’s current focus is on the launch of electric and Hybrid car vehicles in India. At Auto Expo 2023 Maruti Suzuki showcased its first electric vehicle concept eVX, which is expected to start production by 2025.

The renowned Japanese partner Suzuki Motors has given the confirmation to introduce six electric cars in the country in the upcoming next seven 7 years.

Maruti Invicto

Invicto, the premium MPV of Maruti Suzuki is set to launch in the Indian car market on 5th July.

If you go with the design elements of Invicto, it is a look-alike of the new Toyota Innova Hycross, except for the front part. The front fascia will resemble the Grand Vitara car of Maruti Suzuki.

Invicto has been offered a strong hybrid powertrain. The powertrain has an 184hp and 2.0-litre petrol engine combine with an electric motor and is copulated to an e-CVT gearbox.

Invicto will not have a manual gearbox option, and it is the first solely car to be automatic. Advance bookings have been opened from last week Tuesday with a sum of Rs 25,000.

New-Generation Maruti Dzire

The new-gen Dzire is ready to get launched in the Indian car market by the first half of 2024. It is considered to be a rivalry between Honda Amaze and Hyundai Aura.

The new generation Maruti Dzire is offered with a strong hybrid petrol engine. Further, it includes three engine options…

  1. 1.2L NA Petrol Engine
  2. 1.2L Strong Hybrid Petrol Engine
  3. 1.2L CNG Engine.

The new strong hybrid setup, internally known as the Z12E, will feature a three-cylinder engine combined with Toyota’s robust hybrid technology.

The hybrid engine is likely to gloat a attest fuel economy of more than 35 to 40 kmpl. Dzire will witness a new change as follows…

It is expected to get new exterior colour options. The price of the new generation Dzire is expected to be slightly higher than the current version by 1 lakh around and is expected to be sold under Maruti Arena dealerships.

Maruti Suzuki eVX

Maruti Suzuki has instigated an electric SUV, the eVX at the 2023 Auto Expo. The eVX is the first global strategic electric model of Maruti’s parent, Suzuki Motor Corporation.

The eVX testing model has been spotted on the international ground for the first time in Krakow, Poland.

eVX Electric will be based on the new EV platform. 4,300mm long, 1,800mm wide and 1,600mm tall. The new eVX is expected to run up to 550km on a single charge with a 60kWh battery pack.

In March 2022 Suzuki Motor Corporation had a deal agreement with the Gujarat government to invest over 10,000 crores for local manufacturing of electric vehicles and their batteries.

According to ‘Growth Strategy for FY30’ the company will have six electric models by FY30. It was announced by its parent firm Suzuki Motor Corporation.

Maruti Suzuki is expected to launch the eVX car model in the year 2025.
