A few motor giants have confirmed the news of launching the new variants of SUVs and hatchback cars in the India.

Tata Motors, Jeep, Skoda, Renault are upcoming with the new segments. Let’s find out the Variant, Price, and Specification.

1.NEW JEEP COMPASS: The new Jeep Compass facelift is knocking the roads on 27th January. The new Compass is coming with new design approach. It also has the FCA’s latest generation UConnect infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

The all new SUV will have 360 degree parking camera and 10.25 inch digital tool clump. It will have 8 way adjustable electric seat, three spoke steering wheel. It will feature 173bhp as earlier, also with 2.0L Diesel and 163bhp with 1.4L Turbo petrol engine. A 6 speed manual gear box.

2.TATA SAFARI: TATA is a Indian automobile manufacturing company, in fact the boss of Indian Automobile Companies as we know Tata Group of Companies have surprised their fans with old car segment with new variant Tata Safari. The new 7 seater SUV will be available in 4 variants – XE, XM, XT, & XZ with 170 bhp and 2.0L Turbo Diesel Engine.

The new Safari is based on the Gravitas, it gave sneak peak at 2020 Auto Expo. The new Tata Safari both manual and Automatic gear box. The new Tata Safari is to be consider wider than Tata’s previous car Harrier.

The all new Tata Safari will have monotonous features like Electric Parking Brake, Reverse parking sensor, wide sunroof. The car is set to be launched on 26th January.

3. TATA ALtroz: Tata Altroz which was launched last year in January 2020 has come up with new variant TATA ALTOZ ITURBO and soon will be launching this year in January end 2021. TATA Altroz comes in hatchback segment with 3 models XT, XZ, XZ+. The premium hatch back car comes with 108bhp with 2.0L petrol turbo engine. It consist of 5 speed manual gear box. The exterior design with superb headlight and Tail lamps have already made a boom in market.

4.Renault Kiger: Renault brings budget cars in Indian market, that can be easily affordable by medium class. After a huge success of Kwid, Renault have come up with new SUV Renault KIGER. Kiger comes with 5 people seating capacity.

It has 5 speed manual gear box. Kiger comes with a petrol engine of 72bhp and 99bhp with 1.0L petrol and 1.0L turbo petrol. It comes with 19-inch wheels and with a ground clearance of 210mm. It has two level full-LED headlights with neon indicators.

The Kiger is designed on Renault-Nissan CMF-A+ platform with combination of French and Indian designers. 

5.Skoda Kushaq: SKODA is ready to instigate its new compact SUV in 2021. Skoda is a European car manufacturer and one of the fastest growing car segment. Skoda is managing its business since November 2001 in India. Skoda has 131 outlets across the country. SKODA OCTAVIA car created a huge storm in Indian market back in 2002.

The new SKODA KUSHAQ is a subcompact SUV with 5 seater capacity. The name Kushaq was derived from Sanskrit word which means King or a Emperor. Kushaq was built on Volkswagen Group MQB AO.

Kushaq has two engine options available 1.0L Turbo petrol with 108bhp and 1.5L Turbo petrol with 148bhp.

Skoda comes with 100% manufacturer warranty on its all cars. It has additional 4 year warranty which covers defects in paint work, body erosion. The warranty is applicable to the third party even if you sell the car.
